Nate Rhoads - Head Coach
Nathan Rhoads has been involved in swimming for more than 14 years as a swimmer, teacher, and coach. Nathan has been coaching as a full-time club coach for the last nine years. He has worked with swimmers of all abilities, from Olympic Trial qualifiers to learn-to-swim students in Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia. In the past, his teams have won LSC, state, and conference titles, as well as the Arizona Swimming Team Spirit Award. Nate's approach to swimming centers around fundamental body movements, kicking, dry-land strength development and conditioning, the latest scientific advancements in stroke technique and training, and HAVING FUN!!!
Coach Nate currently coaches for the QDD Swim Team in Stafford, VA, overseeing the Senior, Age Group, Novice, and High School Prep programs. In his first season, he coached swimmers to the levels of Junior National finalists, Speedo Eastern Championships, VSI Senior Championship runners-up and finalists, VSI Regional Individual Event Champions, and VSI District (8 & Under) Individual Event Champions. Nathan's team also captured the Men's and Women's VSI Senior Championships Team Titles and was the top Senior team in Prince William and Stafford counties. Currently, Coach Nate trains three scholarship swimmers who will be swimming for UCONN, Navy, and Bloomsburg University in the fall.
Nate currently lives in Stafford with his wife Sheryl and his dog Shelby.

Victoria Severn - Assistant Coach
Victoria Severn returns to the Woodland Wahoos with 4 years of coaching experience, 11 years on the recreational team and four years as a high school swimmer. She has other aquatics related qualifications. More info coming soon!
Kyle Kirk - Assistant Coach
Kyle Kirk has five years of competitive swimming experience. More info coming soon!
Suzannah Glaeser - Assistant Coach
Suzannah Glaeser has swam competitively for over 10 years. She is a Academic All-American and is Junior National qualifier in all four strokes and the individual medley. Suzannah will be swimming at the University of connecticut on a swimming scholarship in the fall.
Tyler Hoehn - Assistant/Swimmer Coach
Tyler Hoehn has swum competitively for 11 years. He has returned from volunteer coaching last year to an official assistant coach and is swimming for the team as well. In the fall he will be attending Mary Washington University with the intended major of Psychology.
